Giardino delle Rose

This lovely Roses Garden, named Giardino delle Rose, overlooks the Piazzale Michelangelo hill, in a panoramic position over the centre of Florence old town.

It is the ideal place to rest after visiting the city’s tourist attractions, entering an idyllic, timeless dimension. It is dotted with more than 1,000 varieties of roses of unique shapes and scents.

Original statues by the artist Folon, located randomly by the bushes, give the garden an additional touch of surrealism.

In the lower part of the garden is located the Japanese Garden, a reproduction of a typical Rising Sun garden, decorated with azalea plants, ponds and characteristic buildings.

A cafeteria kiosk has recently been set up with tables and seats for refreshments with an exceptional view.
